Re: 2009 Ford SMB on CL in Oregon
Seems like a good price. Van Specialties interior, with a beautiful stove and sink setup. Even if I were in the market though, the sideways gaucho would be a non-starter for me. Could be great for a couple without additional passengers.

Re: 2009 Ford SMB on CL in Oregon
That's my rig up for sale. It was a terrible hard decision for my wife and I to post it for sale. Been a dream for years, but life circumstances have changed for us and we are simply not using the van enough. We've only been on two real camping trips!
True, the price is not cheap, but is reasonable considering the age of the build (under 2 years, used for two camping trips!) and we opted for some very expensive options, not to mention the very low miles on the vehicle.
The Gaucho setup is not best for everyone, but can be reconfigured fairly easily. We like it as it give us lots of lounging space that works well with the pivoting passenger seat. The big draw for us is the huge amount of space remaining in the back -- tons and tons of room.
Cheers,
DJM

Re: 2009 Ford SMB on CL in Oregon
Van sold last evening to a gentleman from Boise, ID. Van sold for very near my asking price. If you take a look at this 2008 for sale on the SMB site, very similar to my van, but $110k (!), makes my 75k rig look like a bargain.

Re: 2009 Ford SMB on CL in Oregon
Idaho is looking to catch up to California in number of SMBs.
Congrats on the sale.

Re: 2009 Ford SMB on CL in Oregon
I saw your old rig this weekend here in Boise and talked to the new owners. They seem very happy with their purchase. $75k is a screamin' deal. Makes me wish I would've paid more attention to the ad when I first saw it.
