Thanks for all the replies. It seems that everyone is referring to the 99'. I'm leaning toward the 10'. I think I'll contact the owner for details on the bulletproofing.

Only accept verifiable documentation on the bulletproofing and be able to talk to the mechanic that did it. Also if your serious about this van. Get it pre inspected by a good diesel mechanic. That or have 15k in the wings to fix any and all issues that could arise down the line.

That's a great looking rig. Unfortunately I'm 6'-6" and have two kids so I have myself convinced that I need an EB.

How big are the beds in an RB?

Anyone have experience with a family of four in an RB?

Before moving to the Sportsmobile Sprinter platform, we had a GTRV regular base. Very similar to the EB-50. It was fine for 4 (other than the insane moving of child car seats back and forth to make the bed) unless you were stuck in it by incline to weather, or heaven’s forbid stealth camping with the top down. If you’re not planning to be stuck inside for extended periods, RB is fine.
