Woodgrain Dash?

I've been thinking about hydro-dipping my dash to get that woodgrain finish. Having a terrible time deciding if this is an improvement or a downgrade. Is this desirable and beautiful, or a tacky waste of time an money? What's the consensus on this option?

I'm sure opinions vary wildly. I'd say it's going to look outdated from day one, as this one does to me. Vehicles have moved on from this.

I can't help but notice the checkerboard on the glossy rear table. That must be fun on a curvy road at speed.

I agree with you Scotty. At first sight, the wood is striking. But after awhile, it might become an unwanted distraction. I always seem to be most drawn to the unaltered, factory-original vehicles.

Garage
I always thought that upgrade looked a lot like a woman that just put on way too much make-up... just comes across as unnatural.

Even the Luxury sedans don't have that much woodgrain showcased, its done in moderation which in my opinion is more elegant & stylish. Mercedes, BMW, and Jaguar all do it effectively, the only one I've seen that comes across as overkill are some of the Maserati sedans.
