I just picked up N8's van from Lake Tahoe and was going to raid this van for parts. At $450, it seemed like a gold mine. I went over and checked it out last night. Unfortunately, I don't think it will help me much. The biggest thing I was hoping for was a fiberglass pop-top. It does indeed have a pop-top, but it's built from the original roof. I think it would be just as easy for me to build one from my own roof rather than raid this one. The canvas was tempting, as it's in decent shape, but still not enough to warrant scrapping the whole van.
The guy who's selling it and his friend who's helping him seemed like nice folks. For a vehicle that runs, $450 seems like a steal... I just can't use it. So I'm reposting it here to try to help the guy out.
