I had seen the one in LA but not the others. Thanks! Trying to find time to see the la one, but it’s in the heart of darkness traffic wise.

I like the one in LA the most.... hopefully 50% of the miles are from being towed. Bit bummed the interior pics are so crummy, but it looks like if you're looking for a "passenger" van that you can rip the interior out and put a passenger interior back into it, since I'm almost willing to be that is what the van started life as.

I've had my eye on that one for a while... but the general consensus at my house is that there's only room for one Quigley in the driveway

The 6.0 if not upgraded will cost you 4-5 K and in the condition the inside is in draws me to think neglect. The interior of the 7.3 with 313k will tell you what condition the motor is in. If it is neglected then more reason to suspect. Now if it was cared for why was it rebuilt and if it was rebuilt what mileage on the odometer was it done at. My 2 cents: If the rebuild has 313K on it then well cared for it should have close to 200K left or more before a rebuild ! I would rather take a chance on a 7.3 at $13-$16K than a 6.0 with close to 150K.

I drove the 7.3. Might be durable, but it’s loud and requires more finesse (warm ups and cools downs) than I like. Interior was nice. Paint was pretty torched.

I found a 5.4 chateau with an smb too on it that I’m picking up Thursday. We will see how that one is.

Question, why is it listed as Chateau but the badge says Club Wagon? Also I would definitely check the paint. My 04 Chateau has about 30k miles on it, stored inside and the paint on the rain gutters is starting to crack. I would imagine this one is worse with all the sun it gets.

If your not going to tow a lot of wieght and it’s not high mileage 5.4 as the cam phasers etc are known for goin out about 150k miles depending on how it was maintained.its the same motor I have in my 2009 has an overdrive off button for slight hills, gets decent mileage and when you floor it to get on short freeway ramps it’s no problem...
Even if that 7.3 you were looking at came with a huge 3 ring binder with all the maintenance receipts that had been done to it I can only imagine all the rattles/squeaks and items that need to be addressed on a 300k mileage rig,I wouldn’t have much confidence taking it anywhere.im also not a mechanic and know those motors can go over 500k but how many -people owned it and was it a tow rig all it’s life?

This one has 116k miles on it. I’m sure there are some tired parts, but it seems decent for a lightweight camper. I won’t be towing anything.

I’ve always thought the full model name was Club Wagon Chateau for the Chateaus. Sounds like you have one. Yours is badged differently?

Mine does not say Club Wagon but Chateau on the badge. Sorry not the best picture, but that red bit under E350 says Chateau. Not sure if it matters but I’m up in Canada.

I think the Club Wagon name was dropped at some point. Seems the older passenger vans were labeled as Club Wagon but not the newer (early 2000's) ones.
