99 4wd passenger van. Conversion?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-E-Series-V ... ars_Trucks

Nice Ebay ride I came across. Asked the buyer who did the conversion but haven't heard back. Anyone have any clues? The diff. knob looks different from anything I've seen. Either way this thing could be a good deal given the low mileage!

Not affiliated with this thing at all but intrigued for sure!!

I like hour meters for maintenance, but it makes me wonder if there was a lot of idling time on the engine.

Looks like an incredible deal…..screaming deal.
The hour meter shows a lot of idle time as I have seen many Ambo from the mid to late 90's that show this amount of time.

Last ambo I looked at was a 1999 with 2000 hours on it….

I may be going to by this area on way to palm Springs if someone want me to look at it for them.

let me know.

Heh-heh...went to the picture to see the diff knob, and it took me just a sec to realize it's just rotated to be upside-down!

Some raggedy looking 4x4 vans that got auctioned after some apparently hard use near the arctic circle.

I think the shifter tells it all- the outside is waxed and looking pretty, but that shifter looks like it's seen some hell.
