COST EFFECTIVE rear Cargo boxes Available

No affiliation,
Don't recall seeing this posted (or announced) anywhere, so thought I would share: Came across what seems to be identical rear bumper Storage boxes (same sizes as Aluminess) for considerably less $$$
* Aluminess Large box = $945
* Owl Van Large box = $599 Looks to be the same box

I bought a used Owl box from a member here a while ago, and indeed it appears to be the same as an Aluminess box.

Thanks for sharing Twoxentrix....Sportsmobile Forum has a wealth of information! Nice to see that you can get the bottom hinge cargo boxes. I think I got one of the last ones from Aluminess for my Ford but when I went to get bumpers and a box for my Chevy SMB, Aluminess said they no longer made the bottom hinge door option.

Had I known that I would have bought two bottom hinge boxes from Owl Vans and stacked them for surfaces to put tools, parts, stoves, grills, etc. I guess you could achieve the same by putting the shelves on slides...

Fyi now Aluminess is painting their bumpers and accessories with a textured paint which I think might look better over time.
