Couple of Nice GTRV's EBAY

Two nice units on Ebay right now. I've spoke with the Vancouver guy, he is relisting due to his last high bidder falling through, it went to $20,100 which he told me he would take.

I have been really focused lately on finding a lower cost 2wd camper as my first travel van. Any opinions, good or otherwise on GTRV's appreciated. I like the sportmobile pope up better, but seems like a small compromise for an otherwise pretty nice van/camper setup ala westy/RB50 style.

Yeah, good heads up. I don't plan to bid or deal through ebay. Guy in Vancouver said come on down, bring money, leave with the van so seems legit. I didn't contact the Oregon option.

Both sellers have low feedback numbers, but seem to have sold multiple vehicles, so probably legit albeit a flip.

The Washington one has Montana plates in the photos, and the Oregon one has California plates. Hmmm.

A quick Google search for "2001 GTRV" shows the Washington one listed on CL in Montana by a dealer on Sept. 2. Definitely a flip. Wonder how much it sold for in Montana?

I ran a Carfax on the Vancouver one a few days ago. Saw the Montana plates and wondered about rust, and was hoping maybe it had been elsewhere. (Noticed tons of photos in the auction, but none of the undercarriage?) As I remember it, the ownership was solidly Montana right up until the present. FWIW.

Edited to add: I also noticed that a recent feedback on a vehicle purchase from the seller said that the title was not in the seller's name. It made me wonder if part of the "flip" cost savings was just leaving the title in the previous owner's name and then giving that title to the new buyer. That could potentially be awkward.

I don't know anything about the seller really, though. Just was reading feedback, etc. because I was potentially interested.
