Desperate!

Any way to bring in a Sportsmobile into Canada? We have no way here to get one built, or even found!

I am not an expert in Canadian imports, but some info is available online. Plus there are several excellent RV builders using vans in Canada that are not SMB.

Quick google search:

the easiest approach is to start with a Canadian van and have it converted; there should be no import involved. just drive it back home.

So many better options these days. So many van converters. Google is your friend. Look past Sportsmobile.

I’ve brought many vehicles into Canada including a Sporty.

Once they’re over 15 years old there is no issue.

Sportsmobile never opted to become a manufacturer recognized by the government. Too much paper work I guess.

Less than 15 yo it has to be from a recognized manufacturer.

Go to riv.ca for the rules on the newer stuff. Sportys weren’t there when I last checked.

PM if you want help.
