This E-450 has been on sale for almost 1 year. I think the service body would make it tough to convert into a camper. Fairbanks has a more traditional 4x4 box van, a Fed-Ex 2003 chassis.
There are also two different SRW box vans in Anchorage (one at $18,500 and another at $18,000) that could make good 4x4 conversion projects due to their more trail-friendly size.
The thing is, I don't think bringing a rig back from Alaska is usually a viable thing- it's why so many RVs go there to die...
My neighbors brought an extended cab long bed back from Alaska, I believe they said it cost ~$30 per foot to put it on a ferry to WA and then they drove it the rest of the way to SoCal. Still Can't be as bad as the 4X4 Clubwagons here in town that came from Antarctica!
