Wow that's clean and rare! This could have a few touches by Weldtec and be amazing really quickly.

Saw that and threw in my bid at $16k. I am SHOCKED that I was outbid. Seems really nice, but I have my doubts about the reserve being reasonable.

Yep for sure, it'll be interesting to see if it sells and for what. Who knows though, a random used car dealer may not really know what they have. Its in Portland though where the van life thing is going full on so more than likely they do and have the reserve set pretty high.

I have found that places are either way low or they set the reserve on something like this at $70k because they see other diesel 4x4 fords priced around there.

It's in Portland. Reserve is probably $100k.

I don’t think Portlandia is still going, haven’t looked in quite sometime, but if it were there would have to be an episode on vans.

That's sweet. How do these things wind up in the hands of used car dealers? It's just beyond me.

I was thinking the exact same thing. In fact I went so far as to wonder what sad set of circumstances led to this van being at a used car dealership.

My guess is trade at a new car dealer and then an auction. Or estate sale. Most regular car dealers don’t want to deal with such an unusual rig on their lot, or don’t deal in RVs with their many systems that they don’t understand.
