As Belgian, I am pretty good with m’y European ass;-)

I edited my original statement. Nothing personal, but it's mostly tourists/families who rent camper vans. Nothing wrong with that, but bet they have been used heavily and probably not cleaned well.

Np... As Belgian guy, I have a pretty good sense of humor too

And thanks for your shared expertise

I don’t get it. What do they have beyond the average Ford passenger van plus a folding bench seat/bed? A plywood box with shelves in the back? Looks like they took out the frig/cooler and most everything else of value.

With 250-300k miles, I’d sooner find a basic lower-mile van and start from there.

Many times you'll find similar pricing if you search "Ford E-350" on E-bay, and many times have considerably less mileage.

I do think it depend on the angle and your personal situation. If you are not considering yourself handy, you have limited space, tools and limited time... everything starts to be complicated.

So for people that are not afraid of reverse building, try and fail... those van are certainly not the best. But, if not, why not. I did a trip in one of those and it did a pretty good work.

I rent one of them with the top rent for 2800usd and 15days. Mine would be already paid if I knew it;-)

But Brian, you're forgetting #vanlife! #vanlife #vanlife #vanlife! It's all the rage! It's like the Kardashians, hip hop, pit bulls, and whatever else the youth of today are doing. They simply can't get over the fad! I'm not joking, post any pic of a van or someone hanging out or living in a van on Instagram or other social media I'm sure and you'll be a million comments like "@mytrendyfriend, we've got to do this", or @monkeyseemonkeydo, we should live in a van too"

It's not cool, it's epidemic. These things are probably all sold already.
