Crow build. They always look so nice at first glance

Oh. They build brodozers huh? We see them creep into Colorado sometimes.

I'm a serious buyer with cash, but even I am not hot to trot for a 172K mile, 1992 van. Price seems right though for age/miles, assuming no unknowns that proper scrutiny would not reveal.

I almost bought this van last month. Be aware that on the day I went to pick it up (12/28) it rained in SoCal, and there was significant water intrusion on the passenger side. I also found what appeared to be water rot in the rear cabinetry and around the shower. Pretty cool van, though. As for the provenance of the 4x4 conversion, Javier told me it was done “in his shop in Mexico.”

EDIT: it’s also built on an E250 chassis, not an E350 as that Craigslist ad (or the badge on the rear) states.

If I were you I’d call to verify with them (lone star) as I don’t see him taking his vans to Texas to have them built. He’s been doing it so long in TJ. This van is a zavier/crows build in my honest opinion. I don’t believe it’s been built in Texas. Do you research before you buy a mistake... there are several others doing the same thing now in SoCal. All being built at Halcon racing which is where zavier/crows are built. Most good (properly built) 4x4 van conversions come in at $18-24k so yes this is to good to be true.

I keep an eye out for interesting deals but I'm most likely going to stick with my 2001 E350 7.3 that I have spent several months getting nicely sorted. Just can't find anybody to do a build-out for me (before 2022, at least) and I don't have the skills. I don't even need the 4x4 but it is "cool".

We can start an interior build in September & have it done in 6 to 8 weeks if you go with something like our road west layout - https://www.coloradocampervan.com/co...enturemobile-1 . So you would get it before 2022. Of course you have to come to Colorado but it can happen...
