pi25wide, it sounds like you have done your homework, and you found a good rig. If it is the right van for you, and the numbers work for you, then go for it, and enjoy the heck outta it!
Regards,
Bianca

No doubt, better than my Harbor Freight.. but for top dollar, you should get the top of the line components, and MM is not that.

OK, so that's the major thing..
But no hot water is another negative to add to my list..
Of course, time is money, so if you want to camp next weekend, this is your van! I'd offer him lower and see where he's at. No harm no foul.

I'd add that generally fully loaded diesels (with 100k or less) have been in the $70-$80k range..

To further poke the bee's nest. That is a $65,000 van imo

Let us know what you end up doing. Curious minds want to know. Clearly, we all have our opinions, but the bottom line is that you need to do what is right for you. If you go to bed with a smile on your face, then you did the right thing.
I spent two years looking for my rig--and I go to bed every night with a huge grin on my face. But that's just how it worked out for me. YMMV.
On a related note, there have been lots of conversations around here about financing used vans. For you to find $90k of financing for a 12 year old rig is an achievement. Care to share? Again, curious minds want to know. I'm going to guess that you are not borrowing against the van's equity. If you are, I want to know how you found someone willing to appraise that van for that much. That would be quite remarkable--but very useful information for others who are looking for financing for used SMBs.

Credit union is at prime, minus .5%. For the last few years, prime is at 3.5. So currently our APR would be 3%. Add the mortgage interest deduction and can't beat that anywhere I can find...
