No affiliation; no claims regarding anything. Just posting because I like data, and comparisons make for interesting data.

That one's pretty stripped down.. no bumpers, water, cooktop, roof rack, heat, etc... and still $65k.

Proabably $500 each.. but then you gotta install them, which would be another $1000 or more. And then you're not buying a turnkey van, you're buying a project. Which at this price range, I'm guessing most people don't want!

All used Sportsmobiles are a project. I don't care what the previous owner says. Some are big projects and some are small. None are "bulletproof" especially when they have all the aftermarket gizmos added.

All (used and new) SMBs need maintenance and repairs, true. It's like buying a yacht. But all don't need improvements.

And ones that have already had reputable and costly repairs and improvements to a 6.0 will need less costly repairs in the future.

Always makes me scratch my head when people show photos of their giant smelly dogs or their rigs driving through salt water/sand in their for sale ads.

in negotiations with the owner now. Let's see what happens. Out of respect to the owner, I won't discuss price on the forum until a deal is made or I move on elsewhere.
