So, the first time your vehicle is shoved around by a giant wave, the thought process is, let's keep going, and later on get out of the vehicle and check your tire tread?

Lol, no shit. It's that idiocracy thing again. If I was even dumb enough in the first place, that first little nudge from the wave woulda sent me in reverse like wildfire.

Hooray for the Coast Guard. Am glad they are around. Not glad they had to go after him.

He has to be some special kind of stupid. Or perhaps he was drunk and thought he was on the 101.

When I was a police officer, I was once driving down the highway in my patrol car and had a drunk back out of the parking lot of a bar right in front of me. I slammed on my brakes so I wouldn't hit him. He backed right around me in a 180 turn, put his car in drive, and drove straight into a canal next to the highway. The front of his car was nosed into the water in the canal. The back of the car was in the air with the rear wheels completely off the ground. The drunk sat in the drivers seat slamming the stick shift back and forth from forward to reverse again and again trying to get his car unstuck. He was swearing his head off wondering why he wasn't going anywhere. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
