Question Homebrew for sale in MS

This isn't mine but i wanted to get some advice on it- I've been sniffing around the forum for awhile and have had "gotta have it" moments tempered by "cool your jets"- looking at chinooks too. Question is with such a "homebrew" should I pass given age of truck? My feeling is price is ok if the main systems are sorted. I'd be considered a SB or even an RV "newbee" for sure- but not a mechanical newbee by a long shot -Any thoughts are appreciated.

If you want something to constantly tinker with, its probably a good choice. If you want to use it, park it and use it again, I would go with something much newer.

Garage
All things considered, It looks like the owner has spent some money already in maintenance & upgrades - kinda speaks to his commitment to his project. Also seems relatively well appointed. The low mileage doesnt impress me simply because any way you spin it the rig is still 30yrs old...but that doesnt mean its not still in great shape.
Really need to walk the Van to thoroughly inspect it...look at the construction - what you see says a lot about the builder (hopefully neat clean fabrication, organised wiring, etc).
That rear box is impressive - I have storage envy!
