Good luck on that one. Fish can wait, this kind of deal won't. Don't wait till tomorrow, when you hit the dock, let the crew tie up the boat, RUN, don't walk to see it, and stop at the bank on the way to get a fist full of cash to keep the guys attention. That's assuming well known flipper RPA hasn't scooped it up already

Nothing waits in this business, we'll be underway in an hour or two.

Unusual that it would have a crate motor with those low miles. Not impossible but why? V10's very rarely fail early.

That's one of my questions that's for sure, here's what I know, I don't believe any of those pictures were taken in the Bay Area, and the more I look at the ad, the more I think something isn't right, I'm around Sausalito a lot, there's a couple of 4x vans and Sportsmobiles around here, and I think I've seen all of them except that one, they have my number, I'll let you know if I hear back, from maybe Nigeria, but, I've been wrong before, I'm 2 hours from the dock.

Not sure that the van itself has only 40,000 miles.....

.......the way I read the listing, which says "New crate motor with 40,000 miles," I could see it easily meaning that the van had a new crate motor put in at SOME POINT, and said "new" crate motor itself has now accrued 40,000 miles since then. Chassis (and original V10) could have far more miles on it.
