It's a DOOOLLEEEE

Good thing this doesn't have the V10 in it, otherwise I'd probably have an extra dually van in the driveway tonight. Sure has a nice wheel and tire package (those are 19.5s).

If those front wheels aren't illegal, they ought to be.

Looks like something off a Roman war chariot.

Re: It's a DOOOLLEEEE

I wonder what that van was used for. 10 bolt wheels are good for 3k+ lbs each if I'm not totally confused. That's a bit more than I need on my van. Combine that with the smaller gas engine, and I'm even more confused. I'll venture to guess that while Carringb is pretty far out on a limb, there may be others like him, but the smaller engine doesn't fit that usage model either.

That's so badass .. kinda wish I had it even though I barely drive the 2 E350s I have now. Would a supercharger on a 5.4 get it closer to the power characteristics of a V10? (Just wondering ..)

A supercharger will easily allow it to top the V10.... By a lot. 500+ HP isn't unreasonable in the 5.4L with some boost and bigger exhaust.

BTW, if you go to the dealer's website, he's also got a sweet '67 Land Rover 109 Series IIA diesel.

V8... why, Automotive God, why?

carringb, were you going to hook both vans together like locomotives so you could pull more?

I hadn't thought of that! Now that you mention it..... That would solve shuttle logistics on long trips, and if I registered one of them as a Class B tow truck.... technically it wouldn't be illegal.....
