Do these mount to the body? I have a pleasure way traverse that I need something for, but don’t know if my propane tank will impede installation. Anybody know?

Yes they mount to the body.....as for your propane tank, climb under a have a look. The threaded holes are in the body, and you can see how big the brackets on the running boards are....or better yet drive the van to the seller's place and see if they will bolt up before buying.
