Pioneer AVH-4000NEX

I know a bunch of us also hang out over at advrider.. There's a decent deal (witha little negotiation) on a Pioneer AVH-4000NEX over there.. great van stereo!

we have the avh5500 which is really close to the same thing. super happy with it. buttons are a little small for my old eyes at times, but overall, love it.

if I had a good place to keep the remote, id likely never have to touch the actual unit... our Toyota had a nice flat steering column and I velcroed the remote to that and knew the buttons by feel. loved that setup. never had to touch stereo other than to change discs. just need to find a spot like that in the van where the remote will still work.

We slapped a piece of velcro on the back of the remote. Attach it to our visor organizer. Keeps everything up high where the eyes can stay on the road.
