Price opinions on ‘99 7.3 Turbo Diesel 4x4 Sportsmobile

Voraciously reading the past few weeks trying to get my head around pricing and ups downs ins outs of the SMB world. Could ya'll give me some advice and pricing opinions on this guy:

https://classifieds.ksl.com/listing/61232652

High miles eh?

Thanks!

Boils down to how motivated you are.
My personal opinion, I don't think this rig is overpriced at all - Getting in at $40K for a 4x4 leaves you room for quite a few upgrades/repairs, versus paying $60K for a lower mileage unit.
Looks clean & from the little you can see from the limited pic's, it doesn't look like it has a lot of rust, looks well kept (possibly stored undercover/indoors?). Can he provide maintenance records? That would be an asset in-itself since it speaks volumes about the owner(s).
All contingent on visual inspection obviously, but if its everything he claims when talking to the owner, then at that price point I don't think it would last long in this market.

Need to get a list of all upgrades & more Pic's for a better assessment.

I am shocked that hasn't sold yet. It's been for sale for a couple weeks both on this forum and on KSL. Maybe its a location thing, but in SoCal, thats a very good price.

I must have missed the listing - a word of caution then on proceeding with the awareness of a possible scam... based on what Grampswrx just mentioned, I too would be VERY surprised it hadn't sold quickly. Never know these days!

The only reason I didn’t think it a scam is because he took it down and then put it back up and changed the copy a bit. Scammers are much lazier than that.

This is my van. It’s solid and priced for a quick sale. I had one buyer with deposit fall through. I have another deposit on it but if it falls through for any reason I’ll update my listings with better photos and all the work I’ve done to it. I have records for most of it.
