A bit of discussion already on this posted starting at post 890 at

Can't quite figure out what happened to it. First guess is it hit a moose or an elk or something (maybe the "Moose Gooser" name was tempting fate too much?). Looks like a big animal hit the passenger side grill guard, bent it back, and then continued up and hit the roof. Definitely not a "rollover" as stated, as the fiberglass top and AC unit, etc., are mostly ok. Maybe it just rolled onto the passenger side. But damage to the driver's side fender, too. Odd.

Moose gooser is alive and well

Got it all tuned up minus the paint job. Took it for a 4,000 mile journey and it didn't even skip a beat. Beaut of a rig now.

I have been in contact with the previous owner who ordered the rig new from Sportsmobile and put the first 36k miles on it. The story went as follows..... He was in Colorado in the mountains and there was a new forest fire start. He was trying to get out as it was getting pretty serious and smokey. He came across a narrow bridge over a creek and visibility was very poor. He thought he was on the bridge but his right side tires weren't quite where they needed to be and it tipped into the creek about 7 feet down on the right side. He said it took two big wreckers to pull it out but that they did a heck of a job not damaging it anymore that it was. The insurance company offered him a buy back of $23k or $24k but he didn't know what he would do with it.

X2 ... Will be like knew (almost) with fresh paint or just leave like it is as 1) less likely to be stolen and 2) wont notice any new trail pin striping.
