They are probably well maintained, but consider how much more they are used as rentals vs. privately owned. A private owner that uses it 60 nights a year would probably be considered moderate use. A rental is probably used 120-200 nights a year. So everything is slightly more used.
That being said, I rent some vans out and am trying to figure out a way to buy one of theirs. The mileage doesn't scare me much. Though I do think it's telling about the price that they have been listed nearly a month. So I would think they are $3-5k high for the miles and rental history. But they will probably get it if they are patient enough.

Thanks Grampswrx appreciate your POV
it makes sense a rental will have more "wear & Tear", and you are right the price is a bit high for the mileage and history .
Let me know what vans you rent, as i am always around SanO and San Clemente
Cheers

You can check them out at SCvans.com. Let me know if you want to see any in the flesh, we can probably set that up. May help you get a feel for what you actually want. I hadn't ever seen one in person until I bought my first one.

These are legitimate and relevant points to consider. I drive by the Roamamerica shop all the time on my way to hike the dog. Seeing all the vans, I just stopped and introduced myself to Taylor the owner one day. His stuff is nicely maintained, but more importantly, I don't think these vans have been rentals for that much of their life spans. It would be worth finding out.

If his business is anything like mine, he’s very slow November to March, then renting 20+ days per month may-October. I want him to hold onto them for a bit so I can scoop one in the spring, but not much chance of that.
