Guess it was broken in to or stolen at one point. Still could be a deal if it's legit.
I don't think your guess is accurate. The ignition key cylinder is a common failure on Econoline vans. They get worn out easily. Easy replacement and the new key with that cylinder makes it so that the door key is still original. So two keys are needed.
He took the ad down so either someone convinced him to sell it or he's gonna spend money and ask for more… Wish I would have been able to convince him to sell it to me If it did sell hope someone on here got it.

MSD I have his number he will sell it as is for $3500 before Wednesday morning. That's more rust then I want to deal with. He also gave a repaired price that I still think is a steel but only if repaired right.

Eh, could go either way. I ran two keys after a theft attempt.
