Sportsmobile Rentals!

I just noticed in my latest Overland Journal magazine this ad for Sportsmobile rentals!

At $500/night, the costs sure add up fast though! It really makes me think about how much it's costing me per night for the van I *own.* It'd take half a year of rentals at $500/night to pay for my Sportsmobile.

[Yes, I see just now that this rental company has already been mentioned in passing here in the Forum, but perhaps it's still worth putting out there again for all those I've seen asking about rentals.]

IMO, well worth a half week to a week's rental if you're about to buy new. Figure out what you like or don't like.

Or try this. If this link doesn't copy, try Craigslist search Sportsmobile 4x4 and you'll find a rental on that page in Phoenix. $2000/mo with 4 months minimum plus maintenance.

Just can't handle someone (unknown) in my van.




And am I looking at things backwards or are the side doors on the wrong side? Maybe they flipped the image?

Yep, spare tire is on the wrong side (compared to most, not all), and the exhaust is on the wrong side too.

Designed for down under ? It was the first thing I noticed last week other than my van isn't anywhere in the magazine Notice the wording in the rear widow is correct though.

I'm like blupaddler... wouldn't be able to actually stand and watch my van being driven off for $500, or $2000. Waaaay to many carringb's out there! Well, yeah, too many young twogone's too, I guess.
