The holy grail?

SMBw has a previously owned 2003 diesel 4x4 on their website. The ad doesn't mention Quigley so it might be an SMB 4x4 with the 7.3L turbo diesel. Located in Denver.

No affiliation with the vehicle and/or owner.

The combination of an SMB 4x4 conversion with a 7.3L diesel is very rare. SMB had just developed their own 4x4 conversion right around the time Ford was changing over to the 6.0L diesel was so there wasn't much overlap.

It's the holy grail because many people prefer the SMB 4x4 system to other 4x4 conversions and many/most people prefer the 7.3L diesel over the 6.0L diesel.

Re: The holy grail?

got it.

i picked my '03 psd Q4wd mid year, and they were designing their 4wd conversion at that time.

i had an idea what they were doing and inquired, but they were very tight lipped about it.

Re: The holy grail?

I am trying to look at the van this week if possible. It is rare to find one for sale right in my backyard. More info if I can see it.
