Crazy Ramsey. Crazy I respect, mind you. 4:88 gears!!!!!!! That thing will climb a wall!

I really dig the last pic in the latest ad too. Check it out if you haven't. I may have to borrow that to add to my Craigslist ads.

We talked about that a couple times. He felt it was a good combination of great mountain pass climbing ability, good acceleration and the ability to fit even taller tires down the road. My 410's are barely low enough with 32's, a bit lower would be even better.

It will cost you the same or more plus all the time involved plus transport logistics etc to have a 2wd converted. Great rig, solid price.

Thats the exact minus (4wd) van that I have. Ive got 2.25 lift with 265's and lots of upgrades and custom bumper but that is just Damn!
Interior layout is great and quality is much nicer that the smb's I have seen in person, especially the propane and electrical system. I have two 27 series 6V deep cycles agm in series for 205 ah.

Would there be any issues if a guy wanted to mount a solar panel or 2 and maybe a cargo box on that Traverse style roof? I'm assuming a track system with bars would be the way to go?

No issues. Look at arctictraveller's van.. he's got solar and a rack on his, works great.

Edit: it doesn't look like he has any pictures.. but maybe he can chime in.

Yes tracks are great. Spreads out load to the connection on the top. Modular as well.

I reached out to Pleasure Way directly last winter when that red 4x4 Quigley one was on ebay (that went for 22k or so!) and they said the roof isn't rated for anything on it. That said I wouldn't hesitate to put some rails and a rack on, I just wouldn't overload it with a bunch of volan glassed longboards the way I do with my Westy!
