I have that tomahawk and it's great. I use it backpacking every single trip. It's both my shovel and my axe. On top of that, since it's weighted for throwing, it's fun to play with. I've been extremely surprised at how durable the handle is. It's a great tool all the way around. They make a machete I've considered picking up as well.
