WTB Blank Slate

Posted allready in member classifieds but figured this might be the more appeopriate place. Looking for an allready 4x4 converted van with as little interior work as possible. Would idealy be a RB cargo van with a 5.4. Not looking for a camper build but something I can still put a full sheet of plywood or a large appliance in if needed but still be nice enough to sleep in with an air matttess.

The kicker is I only have about 12k without going into debt or delving into funds I'd rather not. Seen a couple vans in my price range come and go before my van sold and had the money to buy anything. Now that I have the money I'm not seeing anything much.

Also I'm finding that a lot of people are listing 4x4 vans for sale without putting 4x4 in the title anywhere making it much harder to search for them.

Any help passing along a find would be greatly appreciated.

Curious why you couldn't pull the homemade interior outta that one and save some $$$ as 6K is a decent price for the 4X4 aspect and a strong motor.

It's gonna be a daily driver so not really looking for an EB or a V10, not to mention that's a lot of rust. Taking all of that into consideration I don't think that's the van for me. I have plenty of time to wait for something that's more in line with my plan.

Thanks for passing it along though. I do appreciate any and all help. I'm sure someone will want it as that is a good price for a running and driving 4x4 van. Just doesn't fit my needs.

Found a 1983 Dodge Pathfinder 4x4 van on CL a while back and been talking to the seller recently. The paint is a little rough and the cabin is somewhat spartan but clean. Pretty much everything but the engine (which he admits is a little tired) has been gone through and rebuilt or serviced. There is some rust in front of the rear wheels but looks rock solid underneath. There is no A/C of any kind and that is important to me.

He's asking 13,800 but is willing to negotiate the cost of adding A/C. Any thoughts?

I wonder if he still has it? Could be an option after all. How’s the mpg on the V10’s?

Sent him a message...

Then again a 2000 + mile drive home might not be worth it either.

Found this any opinions? I don't see anything that would prove its a Quigley. What questions should I ask? Also does not have a size matching spare and I would be driving it 8 hrs home.
