2003 Ford E-350 7.3 diesel

Question:
sorry,
i do not know where to to go but here.

was the 5 speed tranny available for this model year?
when did smb begin to offer their smb 4x4?
does this model year or does your van have an 'hourmeter'?

Hour meters are usually used for vehicles that spend a lot of time idling- eg. ambulances.

I know Ford offered a stick behind the 7.3L but I'm not sure what years. Someone put a post on here that said something like they decided on Auto in their van because they wanted the center console and drink holders. Try "Search" above or I'll look for it later.

I wanted a 7.3L with SMB 4x4 and eventually gave up and went with the 6.0 because the SMB 4x was more important. If you're looking for a specific tranny along with that it might be a pretty hard search if it exists at all.
