Re: 2008+ E series drivetrain differences
We've done several RSC vans, as high as 8" on 37's. I'm sticking to 6" o 35's now as a max. We do a longer pitman arm and re use the stock front ABS sensors with my RSC axle upgarde. Stock sensors are critical, the system won't work with a traditional truck unit bearing sensor. At all! It goes right into limp mode. I have a few other tricks that I do to keep the system in check (nothing electronic) and it works great. If you drive really aggressive the system will interfere, I was able to do it on the last 6" van but the customer has not since delivery. The 8" was more sensitive and interfered more.
V5 has RSC and it never activated until I swapped to my progressive springs. I'm currently playing with different sway bars and shock valving to really dial it in for the best overall performance. Right now the system is deactivated and I would love to leave it like this! The warning chimes get annoying but I enjoy slinging it through the curvy roads.
