2010 EB 350 6.0 PSD air conditioning hose failure

All, not a big poster but though this important. Sorry if it has already been covered.

Today I had one one my A/C hoses chafe through. It was the top hose connecting to the condenser. It passes right under my under hood fuse box and chafed through on the corner of the box. I suggest you check your rig for the same probelm. Just about any protection of that hose at that spot will do the job.

My 04 had the Starcool installed. There were a couple of places under the hood where the AC lines either rubbed one another or another part of the van which would have eventually lead to a failure. I wrapped those lines with rubber and secured with a zip ties which worked well.
