Definitely return them if they’re not Motorcraft! There is a quality difference.

Not sure if this is a testament for/about Motorcraft COP's but my 2000 E250 5.4 motor has just over 285K miles, every COP is original to the van.

OTOH my 2003 E250 EB has lost the #1 COP at 175K miles, #2 & 4 about 199K miles and the #6 about 249K miles; each were OEM. So 4 down, 4 still running well?

Well I just got back from my trip to Tofino . My van ran perfect , quieter , more power than it had for quite awhile . It was a joy to drive. I am much relieved. Also mechanic said he had no problems removing and replacing my spark plugs. No appreciable carbon build up as well. Success!
