Same as DaveB, For me July 2004, brand new SMB driving up the Grapevine on a 90+ degree day. I had no idea there was an aux fan. I pulled into the one rest stop thinking the engine was ready to blow! A special place in hell to the engineer who synchronized the go petal position to fan rpm (and increased noise).
