Also remember, that 5-6 hours was on an Excursion.There's a few things easier on a van, but I doubt this was one of them.

It's a lot harder on the van. pickups are easy toget to the fuel filter housing. its a pain in the ass to change a fuel filter on my 1999 e350..........7.3

Looks like I got the dreaded diesel leak on my 99 7.3. Do you remember how much the job cost at the shop?

Decided to do it myself with a buddy. Got the rebuild kit from dieselorings.com. The job sucked but no more leak. Prob took about 5 or 6 hours.
