7.3 PSD fuel bowl delete?

Recently I had issues with my 1997 E350 fuel bowl heater shorting out and blowing my PCM fuse. I had to get towed before I figured it out. Now my fuel bowl drain is weeping and I broke the fuel bowl heater connection trying to repair it as it was damn near welded to the bowl.

The fuel bowl on these is almost impossible to get to, and at this point I’m looking at replacing the whole bowl assembly but I’d rather delete it and move the filter to an easier location to access. Has anyone had any luck finding a complete kit to delete the fuel bowl on these? If so, are you able to install it without pulling the engine?

Had the same issues / frustrations. Went with the Driven Diesel kit. It works, just had to fab a bracket to mount the fuel regulator off the HOPP. In the F350 it mounted off the alternator. I believe I had to flip one of the provided fuel lines for the rear passenger rail and remove the engine hoist bracket to make it work. All can be done with engine in place. Rear rails are easy to get to. Front rails require some removal of parts - but not to hard. Engine runs much quieter with elimination of the dead head rail system. For me it well worth it. Hope this help.

What year is your van? I see that kit is for 99+ PSD but I am unaware of what the differences are between the pre 99 (which I have) and the 99+

I have a 2002. From a fuel perspective, 99 and up went with a electric lift pump. I also believe there where changes in the HPOP and turbo. Pre - 99 used a mechanical cam lift pump. I’ve had my current system in now for approximately 7 years / over 120k miles of use with no issues.
