Re: Abs, airbag and blinker malfunction

When I worked on Comm gear in the Air Force and something like that happened, broke turn it off and fixed when you turn it on again, we called it PFM, Pure Frickin' Magic. Ok, maybe a stronger word but I was much young and cussed like the enlisted guy I was. Usually it came back at the worst possible time again. Mr. Murphy and his law.

Re: Abs, airbag and blinker malfunction

Hi Kathryn,

We did not meet. Dan is a friend of mine, and I posted his van on the forum here. You probably met Tim and Mary Lynn who own the silver SMB? I have a tan one and live down in Jackson Hole.

Hope you are enjoying the new rig! Dan and Rebecca are great folks who took good care of your van...

Re: Abs, airbag and blinker malfunction

Took the van to the mechanic and it acted just perfect for them.... Couldn't find anything wrong. Oh well. I'll see how it goes. Not to worried.

Only met Rebecca briefly but Dan was super cool. Buying the van was def a superior experience

Sorry I took so long getting back to you, I just picked up my new BMW R1200GS Adventure motorcycle and I've been out riding it before the snow falls up here. I found my "PDF" copy of the recall bulletin. Look at it, and maybe call a Ford dealer or two to see if yours is affected and/or completed. Back when I lived in the O.C. I used to go to the Ford dealer in Brea or to the one out off the 91 in Corona. I don't know if they are any good these days (Or even still open!)
Good Luck!
