Add ons to improve gas mileage?

I have a 1994 E150 with the 5.0 302, would like to get a little better gas mileage, what add ons will help?
1. Upgraded intake
2. Exhaust
3. Electric fan
4. Chip (If one is available?)
5. YOUR GUYS SUGGESTIONS!!!
I know it will never get great gas mileage, because what it is, but I dont think 17-18 MPG on the highway is to far of a fetch! I get about 14-15 now. Would like to get a few more!!

Re: Add ons to improve gas mileage?

It seems to me that you'd have to buy an awful lot of gas to pay for the couple of gallon increase in mileage that any of those upgrades would offer.
Going 5 MPH slower might be a much more cost effective alternative.

Re: Add ons to improve gas mileage?

Lower rolling resistance tires

More air pressure in the tires

Slow down

Lower the van 2"

And, do you have anything like roof racks or? that could add drag?

What he said.
If you really need a mechanical solution, add a heavier push back spring to your gas pedal.
