The less amount of offset you have, the more negative scrubes radius your going to get.
Scrubes radius is a key effect on drivability and stress for the axle, hub. In most cases you want it it as negative as you can get. A sports car would be way easier to handle in corners and while drifting.
You put way less amount of stress to the axle and its components. Quigley, as far as I know, refuses garantie if going to positive offset.
There is only one downside, as always: turning radius and the space between the wheel and axle/steering components, that's limited.
