Re: Anybody use dual steering stabilizers?
I have dual steering stabilizers on my '09 and the steering is nice and tight with no bump steer to speak of. This could be due to the "newness" of it as well, so I wouldn't use my experience to base your decision on. It was a cheap upgrade ($150) at the time of the 4WD conversion, so a no brainer, really.
There is still what I would call "sway" at highway speed, say when changing lanes or in a curve, you still feel like the van wants to go off to one side or the other, but it is mild and attributable to the rear, not the front of the vehicle, in my opinion. I think a Helwig sway bar might help this and I'm sorry I didn't get it installed when I did the 4WD at Quigley.
As a disclaimer, my 1500 miles of driving have been in an empty van, so once the conversion is finished and there's weight in the back driving dynamics might change...
