Anyone have the original, black plastic filter housing for a 6.0 PSD that they would be willing to part with? I need one, see Meetings/Trip Reports topic 'Leaving Alaska - Barely' for details.

I wonder what SMB did with mine? Maybe they toss them but maybe they don't and keep a few on hand just in case of something similar to what happened to you.

Go for it. I never thought about keeping the part(s) Mike. I hope they can help you out (for free). When I did a rotor upgrade a buddy asked what I did with the old rotors....yep I told SMB to keep the damm things. He wanted em and the next time I was down there they just gave me a set. BTW what do you think caused it to fail?

Something between the filter housing and the front driveshaft when I bottomed out the front end. Since I bottomed the front end many many times in Alaska, I guess I only got 'lucky' once.
