There is always some guy saying this that or the other thing is the thing, throw in a little palliative cliche ("if you're not going hardcore") and it sounds like advice.
What's hardcore anyway? I've seen guys in the backcountry of Kentucky snap the ball joint on a Rockwell 2.5 ton.
You should consider actual facts on what they do and weigh that against your budget and needs. Bones_GSXR's post is a good example, he's providing information about WHY he thinks Detroit is a good choice, information that you can evaluate.
Don't take "some guy"'s advice, figure out what you need and what fits the bill.
Sorry, I just see so much of this- it's like realtors, for some reason if you're buying or selling a house everybody and their brother feels the need to suggest their own realtor as if they would be any different.
