From what I can find, the top one (C4) should be a Dana 60 with 3.73 with a limited slip. The bottom one (C2) should be a Dana 60 with 3.00 (never new that was available?) with limited slip. Are you junk yard searching, or do you have 2 vans?

Whenever you see a letter in the axle code, it designates it as a limited slip. When the code is 2 numbers, it is an open diff.

Slightly off topic but since we're already talkin' 'bout rear axles.....

Are the threaded axle vent tube fittings generic to Dana's (mine = 34) or super specific to the exact axle assembly?

I need to raise my left side brake lines slightly to clear a new U-bolt installed for a Hellwig rear sway bar.

ADDED NOTE: The 2011 E-Series FSM specifies C4 - 3.73 ratio. limited slip, single rear wheels

Just an FYI (and I know it is old but just adding to the knowledge base)

I just bought a mildly abused 2011 E-350 5.4L 4R75E (Trans code Q but the cross brace is marked 4R70W) Super Duty with the C4 axle designation.

The build code is:

3.73 2014981-3 L-S

The -3 does not show up here:
https://www.crawlpedia.com/dana_60_bom.htm

2014981-1 Dana 60HD '11 (Ford) Rear 3.73 4.10- 35 Sp. C-Clip More..
2014981-2 Dana 60HD '11 (Ford) Rear 4.10 4.10- 35 Sp. C-Clip More..

I'm assuming the -3 or the L-S stands for limited slip as implied by the C4 axle.
