Does anyone have any tips to decrease the diesel engine noise in a EB350?

Re: Diesel noise

A few on this forum have done more insulation around the doghouse. Check out www.badgertrek.com , they have done this and have a pretty good writeup.

Re: Diesel noise

You can also add 1 ounce of TWC3 two stroke oil to each gallon of diesel. This will quiet the injectors noticeably.

Re: Diesel noise

Do a search here. There's several good threads on the subject on the Forum.
Besides, that's not noise, that's music....

Re: Diesel noise

We have not done anything to the dog house, but we put 2 layers of second skin products from the firewall to the back of the cab on the floor. We have no problems with sound or heat.
