E-series ABS Sensor modification (Quigley 96')

Hi, As one last ditch effort. I am looking for any expertise on this forum for what the modification specs are for the Quigley modifications to a factory ford ABS Sensor are. My van is at Boulder Off Road Vans in limbo. Diagnostics says that the ABS sensor failed on Front Left.

Here is what I know.
Quigley says I need Ford Part : F6UZ2c204-AB.
I have (and gave to mechanic) Ford Part F6UZ2c204-AD which is apparently the updated replacement ford EOM part according to the interwebs and local Ford dealer. Both parts are discontinued. But I have one (....c204-AD) and Quigley has their modified version of the Ford F6UZ2c204-AB for $154+sh.

Seems silly to buy a pre modified new one when I have the unmodified original IF it can be modified by me or at B O-R Vans. For whatever reason the mechanic says, "Even if I modified the bracket, the sensor itself wouldn't physically fit." So I am not sure if the OEM is for 2WD (likely) and since this is now 4WD how and what all was modified to make it work by Quigley in 1996. Any ideas or specific knowledge of the mod specs?? Maybe I just gotta buck up and buy the Quigley Pre Mod version. In that case.....anyone wanna buy a F6UZ2c204-AD? Seems they are no longer available. :-) good deal!!
