E350 wheels: Offset, availability, etc

Hi all,
I'm looking for wheels for my 2000 E350 Quigley and I'm getting frustrated! Well, not too frustrated, but I can't seem to get a straight answer on the offset. I finally figured out that the bolt pattern on the vans never changed to 170mm, so that rules out all the nice 18" take-off's I see around town.
If I'm looking aftermarket, what is the correct offset and does anyone have suggestions of wheels they use/like? I'd like 17-18", but will stick with 16's if that's the best option.

Thanks!!!

This may be too obvious but if you have stock wheels, you can measure the offset on those to determine what offset you need in aftermarket wheels.

Some of the wheels out there can't handle the weight of the heavier vans. If you use "offset" in the search you might find an answer if nobody gets back to you.

Here is one post:

Will you be running stock size tires? If not, then factory offset may not be the best.

Re: E350 wheels: Offset, availability, etc

thanks guys!
I would like to run a slightly bigger tire than what I have, maybe a 285... clearance shouldn't be a problem.

I'll check the links that were posted. I appreciate the input, especially regarding the load rating. I had thought of that, wondered if I was crazy

What I would love is a set of the factory alloys that I have seen on 2010 and newer (maybe older too?) E-350's. Maybe I'll long-shot the dealership and see what the chances are they might have some...

Thanks again!

Factory alloys are too narrow for 285s.
