Re: Engine stalled a few minutes ago......

Limped our way up to Mammoth from Bishop up the side road doing 30 or so just incase. No issues yet. Restored the Tune back to stock at Bishop to remove one more variable. I have not run it hard since the two stalls so hoping to lightly use throughout the trip and have it fixed at home.

No one can work on it up here till mid next week.

Re: Engine stalled a few minutes ago......

I would clear the codes and as soon as the idiot light comes on see what code it is. If
its only the missfire on #1 then its probable the coil on cap. Any parts store has them and their only
45.00, I always carry a spare,I'v had two gone out so far on my van. #1 cylinder is the easiest to replace. Its sucks having to deal with this on a trip.

Brent,

Did you get the error code issue squared away?

I guess we wasted our time responding to his problems! Next time i will think twice about
trying to help.

Hey Gents, sorry for the lack of response on this thread. I think I must have accidently clicked the unsubscribe thread button on my last reply to this one or something as I just saw theses last few update questions.

No new news yet. Van is running fine now and has not stalled since the trip. Plan to take it in sometime for a full rundown. I'll post up results when I get info.

Re: Engine stalled a few minutes ago......

Finally have this issue fixed. The fuel pump was bad and was dropping as low as 30 PSI when on the throttle. Had it replaced today by Juan Apalategui of Juanco who works with Ramsey in his shop in El Cajon. He also has a shop in Chula Vista. Can't tell you how nice it is to finally connect with great people who do great work.
