Exhaust for 6.0 Diesel

I have an 04 E350 Diesel and I’m looking for someone that makes a 4" exhaust. Also if anyone has any good recommendations on a computer programmer, chip or anything that will help with more hp's

Any help would be appreciated

Re: Exhaust for 6.0 Diesel

I have a Banks exhaust, but it was more or less a one-off that Gale Banks did for the former owners of my SMB. I think others have approached Banks about exhausts for their vans, and it was a no-go.

When I was first looking at 4x4 conversions for vans, Quadvan (up in Oregon) offered a 4" exhaust system.

As much as I'd also like more HP, I very leary of boosting power, and heat, in these vans. I do think a few people here run programmers (JoeyNick comes to mind).

P.S. I like the two tone paint job. Is that LineX on the bottom half?

Check with Sean Zylstra at Zylstra Automotive in Visalia, (559) 739-7303. Sean helped many SMB owners with exhaust, intake, and programming devices.

I also recommend Sean Zylstra as the guy to go to, as well. He and his dad run an excellent garage. They maintain and repair emergency and medical E-350 vans for their town, too.

Thats Rhino Liner. I was going to go with Linex it was a little cheaper but also a little thinner.

I've been running the SCT Live Wire Program (on the Tow 50 setting) for about 2 years. It made a big difference in the amount of power available in the low end and I also got what I was looking for -- better fuel economy (and no EGR issues.) I regularly get 20 MPG on the highway, up from about 17 or 18 before the program.

I'm have over 60k on the van and have had zero issues with the engine / program.

My SMB is a highway cruiser (2WD, not 4x4) and I rarely romp on it. But she goes like a banshee when I do. Oh, I do have gauges to I keep an eye on everything. (See signature.)
