On the F series pick-up trucks the factory changed to a larger air filter inlet housing and larger cold air inlet snorkle. Did the vans get a similar upgrade when they went to the 3 valve V10? My understanding is that the trucks benifit from the snorkle, tube and the left hand part of the air box off of newer trucks. It's suposed to be a quick swap for better incoming air flow to boost milage and engine breathing. Does anybody know if they made a change on the vans to a larger intake duct? What year should we look for?
Stumpalump ,
I looked at air intakes today at Zylstra's from 2005 thru 2009 and all were very nearly the same . You should call Sean for actual specifications , he is a very honest and more importantly knowledgeable on all aspects of our Vans as he services all model types for the entire Central Valley , most of which are Fords . 1 (559) 739-7303

Thanks. Sean was a real nice guy and fun to talk to. he didn't know of any changes but has not seen any of the brand new ones. I may stop at a Ford dealer in my travels.
